New-Light is a firm of Chartered Accountants registered and regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), with ICAEW firm number: C008937242 verifiable with the ICAEW, having a registered branch office in Afghanistan. The New-Light team has strong experience in Afghanistan and the United Kingdom, and a growing track record of supporting clients operating in countries including Sierra Leone, Kenya and Uganda.

New-Light has a strong local presence, providing accounting and advisory services to businesses across the UK and globally from small businesses to mid-sized listed companies, the not-for-profit sector, and private clients. We provide a range of core services, including audit, accounting, tax, outsourcing, corporate finance, restructuring, and wealth management.

Joseph Kaye is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in audit and financial project management across multiple countries. With over 24 years of experience, Joseph has developed a wealth of knowledge in the areas of financial management, accounting, and audit.

Anup Sharma CA

CPFA - Team Lead

Anup holds a bachelor’s in business studies, specializing in Finance and Audit, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years' experience in grant monitoring, audit and internal controls, primarily in Afghanistan.

Hanifah Kakyama CPA

MBA - Team Lead

Hanifah Kakyama is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Uganda. With over 15 years of experience in auditing and financial monitoring, Hanifah is well-equipped to provide expert financial guidance to clients.

Pradeep Nepal CA, CPFA

MBS - Team Lead

Pradeep Nepal is a certified Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Finance Accountant. He also holds a master’s degree in business studies and accounting. With more than 15 years of experience in grant monitoring, audit and internal controls, Pradeep has primarily worked in Afghanistan.

Dilip is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), with a career spanning over 22 years. Dilip's expertise is in Audit & Assurance, Public Financial Management, Fiduciary Risk Management, Anti-Corruption, Accounting and Taxation.
